The Tres Cantos City Council will host the Commerce Gala this Saturday, May 16, at the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center Theater to commemorate the city's 35th anniversary.

The event, scheduled for 8:00 PM, aims to highlight the fundamental role that local businesses play in the economic and social development of the municipality. During the ceremony, awards will be presented to 11 local establishments, selected for their entrepreneurial capacity and their historical connection to the evolution of Tres Cantos.
The recognitions are structured into four distinct categories. The first, Raíces del Comercio (Roots of Commerce), will reward businesses that have grown alongside the city and are part of its urban memory. The second category, Historias que construyen Tres Cantos (Stories that build Tres Cantos), will highlight the effort and business vision of established shops, while the third, Nueva Generación Comercial (New Commercial Generation), will focus on recent initiatives that bring innovation to the local fabric.

"Small businesses generate employment, boost the local economy, and create spaces for meeting and coexistence among neighbors."

In addition to the aforementioned categories, the gala will include two special awards for the anniversary. The event seeks not only to reward individual trajectories but also to reinforce the institutional support for the commercial sector, emphasizing its importance as a neighborhood meeting point and a driver of coexistence in a municipality that continues to look toward the future.
