Tres Cantos is celebrating its patron saint festivities from June 18th to 24th, coinciding with its 35th anniversary, featuring a program of concerts, shows, and new identification wristbands for residents.

The San Juan Patron Saint Festivities in Tres Cantos will take place from June 18th to 24th, marking the city's 35th anniversary. The organization has introduced an innovative measure: 14,000 identification wristbands for registered residents, granting access to an exclusive area near the main stage at the Fairgrounds.
To obtain these wristbands, residents must visit the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center on June 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th, presenting their ID. Wristbands for family members can also be collected. Access to the reserved area will be open from 7:30 PM onwards.
Mayor Jesús Moreno highlighted that the initiative aims to enhance security and foster a sense of belonging to the city. The program, organized by the Department of Culture, combines live music, family shows, children's activities, and traditional events for all audiences.
Prior to the official start, the 'Pre-Festivities' begin this weekend with the opening of swimming pools, a dance for seniors, and road safety activities. On Saturday the 13th, the Plaza de la Familia will host opera and dance performances and the band Metropop, along with 'La noche es joven' at the Fairgrounds.
The concert lineup includes the Orquesta Panorama on June 18th, followed by Dani Fernández and Sofía Cristo on the 19th. On June 20th, the band Siloé will perform, while orchestras such as Maxims, Diamante, and Atlántida will liven up other nights.
The XI Circalle 3C Festival will feature contemporary circus shows, and on Sunday the 21st, Vulcanum, a pyromusical spectacle on the lake of Parque Central, will be presented. Children's activities, including puppet shows, will also be prominent.
On San Juan's Night, June 24th, the traditional Bonfire Lighting and Jumping will take place. The festivities will conclude on the 25th with a Solemn Mass and a concert by the Tres Cantos Symphony Band.
This year's festivities also reinforce the commitment to safety, accessibility, and inclusion, with adapted time slots for people with sensory disabilities, noise-reducing headphones, preferential access, and reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility. A Violet Point, Safe Point, and Civil Protection services will be available.
