The Tres Cantos City Council has approved the rules for the Innovatech Awards 2026, an initiative that will allocate 38,000 euros to recognize innovative projects from startups and companies linked to the municipality.

The call, agreed upon by the Local Government Board, aims to promote business innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development in the locality. The regulatory bases, which detail participation requirements, evaluation criteria, and necessary documentation, will be available on the municipal electronic headquarters and in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid.
The Innovatech Tres Cantos Awards 2026 will be granted under a competitive tender regime and are structured into six distinct categories, each with its own economic endowment:
  • Technological and Digital Innovation: 7,500 euros
  • Collaboration with Science: 7,500 euros
  • International Expansion: 6,500 euros
  • Revelation Startup: 6,500 euros
  • Sustainable Company: 5,000 euros
  • Social and Community Impact: 5,000 euros
In addition to the economic incentive, selected participants will be able to benefit from support services, including specialized mentoring, access to testing spaces, connection with technology clusters, and support in financing and certification.
The call is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs with projects in an advanced stage of development or consolidation. It is an essential requirement that the projects maintain an effective link with Tres Cantos and comply with all the requirements established in the bases.
Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically, accompanied by the required documentation, which includes an executive summary, a business plan, and an action plan. The submission period will be 30 calendar days from the day following the publication of the bases on the municipal electronic headquarters and the bulletin board.
