The Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center Auditorium hosted the event, organized by the Community of Madrid as part of the Madrid Región Activa program. The meeting showcased 70 experiences and projects from educational, federative, and associative sectors, all aimed at improving the population's quality of life.
During the conference, the Tres Cantos City Council highlighted its local strategies, including the Punto Activo initiative. Additionally, the Salud Activa program was presented, a regional collaboration that allows Primary Care physicians to prescribe physical exercise as part of medical treatment for patients of all ages.
The event coincided with the tenth anniversary of Madrid Región Activa, a program currently collaborating with 141 municipalities in the region. Its main goal is to establish physical activity as a fundamental pillar in disease prevention and the improvement of overall citizen well-being.
