The municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes is preparing to celebrate the festivity of San Isidro Labrador on May 15th, with a program of religious events including a mass and procession, organized by the Association of Rustics, Farmers and Ranchers.

The celebration, which coincides with the commemoration of the patron saint of farmers and of Madrid, is a significant date in the local calendar that annually brings together residents and participants around their deeply rooted traditions.
The program will begin at 11:45 AM with a parade that will depart from the Town Hall to the parish of San Sebastián Mártir, accompanied by the Municipal Music Band.
At 12:00 PM, a mass in honor of San Isidro Labrador will be held in the parish church. After the religious ceremony, the traditional procession will take place through various streets of the municipality, also with musical accompaniment.

"This institutional collaboration aims to support the activities carried out by the entity and promote the continuity of traditional celebrations."

The events are promoted by the Association of Rustics, Farmers and Ranchers of San Sebastián de los Reyes, an entity dedicated to the preservation of local agricultural traditions. Recently, the City Council and this association signed the first collaboration agreement between both parties, seeking to support the entity's activities and ensure the continuity of these celebrations.
Among the objectives of this collaboration is the recovery and maintenance of traditions that have lost visibility over time, covering both the festivity of San Isidro and other celebrations throughout the year in San Sebastián de los Reyes.
