The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council has approved the guidelines for the 2026 edition of 'Sanse Urbano', a festival promoting youth culture through various artistic and sports disciplines.

This annual initiative aims to enhance the creativity and talent of young people in the municipality, providing a space for competition and artistic development. The program is designed for participants aged between 14 and 30 years, who can register through the municipal electronic headquarters.
Among the featured activities is the Allstyle Dance Competition, which will host 32 participants in individual direct elimination battles. The winner will secure a spot in the final of the Switch on Madrid Allstyle Championship, scheduled for May 23 in Leganés. Registration for this category will be open from May 4 to May 21.
Additionally, the Sanse Battle Rap Battle will take place on May 23 at the Daniel Rodríguez Youth Center auditorium. Amateur MCs without a record contract are eligible to participate, with registrations available from May 4 to May 22. The festival will also include a 3x3 Basketball Tournament, held between the afternoon of May 22 and the morning of May 23 at IES Atenea, featuring mixed teams of three or four players and a maximum of 16 teams. The registration period for basketball will be from May 4 to May 22.
Visual Arts will have its dedicated space on May 22 at the Daniel Rodríguez Youth Center, covering modalities such as drawing, painting, collage, photography, and video. Each participant can submit up to two works, with registrations from May 4 to May 21.
The dance, rap, and basketball competitions will award prizes of 300 euros for the first-place winner and 150 euros for the second, in addition to a special Red Joven Norte award of 300 euros. For the visual arts competition, a single prize of 150 euros will be granted, and selected works will be part of a temporary collective exhibition.
