The incident occurred last Thursday, around 11:20 AM, in the town of Tres Cantos. The officer, who was walking in the area, observed several residents chasing an individual wearing a white cap, shouting about a theft.

In response, the civil guard began pursuing the suspect. The chase ended when the alleged thief threw the money to the ground before getting into a waiting vehicle, thus managing to escape the scene.

The Tres Cantos Civil Guard Post has confirmed that an investigation remains open to identify and apprehend the perpetrator, who managed to flee in the vehicle.
