This initiative, promoted by the Employment and Equality departments, aims to strengthen participants' skills in a job market that increasingly demands digital competencies. The workshops have been designed based on the real needs of unemployed women in the municipality who have previously used the municipal Labor Orientation service, incorporating the skills most sought after by companies.
The sessions are held during the month of May, in the morning, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the municipal facilities located at Plaza del Ayuntamiento, 1. Prior registration is mandatory, and places are limited.
The cycle began on Wednesday, May 13, with a workshop on creating resumes using Artificial Intelligence and planning job searches. On Thursday, May 14, effective registration on online job portals and application tracking were discussed. Upcoming sessions include a focus on improving competencies on Wednesday, May 20, and practical tips for in-person and video interviews on Thursday, May 21.
The following week, on Wednesday, May 27, the focus will be on emotional well-being during job searching, aiming to help participants manage uncertainty. The cycle will conclude on Thursday, May 28, with a session dedicated to identifying and monetizing personal talents.
“"From the City Council, we will continue to promote all necessary actions to provide women with the resources to adapt to an increasingly demanding labor market."
“"These types of initiatives contribute to removing barriers, empowering female talent, and advancing towards real equality of opportunities in the workplace."
To participate, interested individuals must be registered residents of Tres Cantos and complete their registration through the Gestionandote.com platform. This initiative is part of the regional program for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, co-financed by the European Social Fund+.
