The Civil Guard has dismantled a highly organized criminal group dedicated to stealing high-end car wheels and steering wheels in Tres Cantos, concluding an investigation that began in March of last year.

The police operation, which commenced in late March of the previous year following several reports of thefts from inside vehicles, as well as the disappearance of wheels, steering wheels, scooters, and a car, has successfully dismantled a highly mobile criminal network.
During the investigation, Civil Guard agents identified that the perpetrators used two vehicles to carry out the assaults. They also located a storage unit in Vallecas that served as a temporary hiding place for the stolen items before their sale.

The operation carried out by the Civil Guard made it possible to recover high-end vehicle wheels, in addition to seizing tools and clothing allegedly used to commit the robberies.

The operation culminated in the arrest of three gang members while they were attempting to clandestinely sell some of the stolen wheels. Days later, a fourth individual linked to the criminal activity was apprehended, thus completing the dismantling of the criminal structure.
Thanks to this intervention, high-end vehicle wheels were recovered, and tools and clothing, believed to have been used in the robberies, were seized.
