The event, organized by the Madrid Federation, was aimed at competitors over 30 years old. The delegation from Colmenar Viejo demonstrated a high competitive level, excelling in various categories.
Among the most outstanding results, an athlete, current Madrid champion and national bronze medalist, won three medals: a gold medal in the individual category, another gold in the synchronized trio modality, and a bronze in synchronized pairs.
In the beginners' category, a green belt competitor claimed the gold medal in the modality for athletes up to red belt, delivering one of the team's most notable performances.
Another athlete with extensive competition experience added two bronze medals in the individual and synchronized pair events, solidifying their presence in the circuit. The team's participation was completed by a fourth athlete, who also secured a bronze medal.
The Colmenar Viejo Taekwondo School, founded in 1984, has been active for over four decades, training numerous athletes and instilling the values of this discipline. Its participation in the Madrid International Master Open reaffirms the club's competitive continuity in regional and national events.
