The Picasso Room transforms into a space for introspection with the exhibition Factor humano by Santiago de la Quintana Jiménez. This collection invites viewers to explore the inherent solitude of the individual, not as an emptiness, but as a mysterious reality that defines existence. De la Quintana's work intertwines this feeling of isolation with the human connection to nature, offering a balanced view of our position in the world.
The Factor humano exhibition stands out for its technical richness, presenting a total of 60 pieces that demonstrate the artist's versatility. In addition to oils and acrylics on canvas, the exhibition includes works created on less conventional materials such as iron and ceramics, adding a physical and tactile dimension to the artistic experience. The official opening will take place on Friday, April 10 at 7:00 PM, and the exhibition will be open to the public until April 30.
In parallel, the cultural center's lobby presents Lugares, a collective proposal by fifteen students from Taller El Sótano. This exhibition offers a visual tour of various natural landscapes around the globe, highlighting the quality and professional technical style of the participants. The collection, composed of approximately 20 canvases made entirely with the oil painting technique, will be available from April 10 to April 30.
The Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center, located at Calle de la Iglesia, 12, will be open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
