Colmenar Viejo concludes the month of May with a packed agenda of activities including the Seafood Fair, the Saltimbanqui Street Theater Festival, and the Producers Market, spread across various locations in the municipality.

The leisure offerings for this weekend in Colmenar Viejo encompass gastronomic events, open-air performances, local markets, and exhibitions, aimed at all audiences.
Until next June 14, the Plaza de Toros Esplanade hosts the Seafood Fair, a gastronomic event focused on Galician products. The venue will be open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM, offering traditional specialties in a space set up for dining.
The El Mirador Park will be the stage this Saturday for the Saltimbanqui Street Theater Festival, featuring the play ‘Carman’ by the company Javier Ariza. The performance, starting at 8:00 PM, blends circus, gestural humor, and music, with a Seat 600 as a central element of an itinerant staging.
The Producers Market will take place this Saturday inside the Plaza de Toros, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It will bring together nearly thirty stalls of local farmers and artisans offering seasonal products such as fruits, vegetables, bread, pastries, cheeses, and cured meats from the region.
Concurrently, ASARCO is organizing the Craft Market, the last edition before the summer break, with the participation of artisans from Colmenar Viejo.
The cultural agenda is rounded out with activities at the public libraries. This Friday, the Miguel de Cervantes Library will host the free pre-registration workshop ‘Libro artista’. The Miguel de Cervantes, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, and Mario Vargas Llosa libraries are maintaining the exhibitions ‘Lo salvaje’ and ‘Las bibliotecas recomiendan: libros para… ¡nada!’ throughout May.
In the sports arena, the La Magdalena Fronton will host a men's rhythmic gymnastics event on Friday, organized by the Club Rítmica Kairos Colmenar Viejo. On Saturday, the CDM Juan Antonio Samaranch will be the venue for the Fernando Martínez Colmenarejo pre-benjamin football memorial.
The Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center is exhibiting the ‘X Muestra de Libros de Artista’ (Artist Books Exhibition) in the Picasso hall and the collection ‘Lugares’ (Places), inspired by local and Galician landscapes, in the Vestibule.
