An off-duty Civil Guard officer successfully recovered 900 euros in cash that had been stolen from an ATM in Tres Cantos, following a chase that ended with the alleged thief fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred last Thursday, shortly after 11:20 AM, when the officer noticed several people chasing an individual wearing a white cap, shouting "thief".
The officer immediately joined the pursuit, causing the alleged perpetrator to throw the money on the ground. The suspect then got into a waiting vehicle and quickly fled.
Currently, the Civil Guard Post in Tres Cantos is conducting investigations to identify and apprehend the person responsible for this incident.
