Families in San Sebastián de los Reyes have until June 5 to apply for a spot in the urban and inclusive camp that APADIS organizes throughout July, with the backing of the City Council and activities for minors aged 3 to 21.

The Summer APADIS Camp, a well-established initiative in San Sebastián de los Reyes, is once again opening its doors throughout July to provide a solution for families with children and young people, especially those with support needs, during the school holidays.
Organized by APADIS —Association of Parents and Friends of People with Intellectual Disabilities of San Sebastián de los Reyes— and subsidized by the local City Council, the camp promotes inclusive leisure. Its philosophy is to create a space where minors with and without intellectual disabilities share activities and coexist on equal terms.
The camp will take place from July 1 to 30 at APADIS facilities, located at Avenida de Aragón, 14, in San Sebastián de los Reyes. It will operate from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, facilitating family work-life balance. It is aimed at two age groups: children aged 3 to 12, and young people aged 13 to 21.
The program includes varied activities such as scavenger hunts, arts and crafts workshops, cooking workshops, and aquatic activities, highlighting the popular water party. All activities are designed and supervised by a team of professionals with specific training in supporting people with intellectual disabilities, ensuring appropriate support for each participant.
Prices are set per fortnight and vary according to the level of support required: 291 euros for limited support, 366 euros for generalized support, and 455 euros for extensive support. This structure aims to make the cost accessible and proportional to the necessary care.
Interested families must complete the pre-registration form on the APADIS website by June 5. Participant selection will be made by lottery, and selected families will be notified on June 19.
