The accident occurred around 6:50 PM on kilometer 16 of the aforementioned road, for reasons that are still under investigation. As a consequence of the incident, the driver became trapped inside the trailer's cabin.
Personnel from the Community of Madrid Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and carried out the necessary rescue operations to free the injured driver. Subsequently, medical staff from SUMMA 112 attended to him at the site before airlifting him to a hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
