The municipalities of Algete and Cobeña are organizing the 2nd March for Neurodiversity on Sunday, April 19, 2026, an event designed to highlight mental diversity and foster inclusive coexistence.

Under the slogan «Inclusive society, unique minds», this intermunicipal initiative seeks to break down barriers and raise awareness about the diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and learning that enrich our society. The march will traverse natural landscapes, creating a space for encounter and understanding among participants.
The day will begin with two simultaneous starting points. In Algete, participants will gather at 12:00 PM in El Cigarral Park. Meanwhile, in Cobeña, the pre-march assembly will take place at 11:30 AM in the Plaza de la Villa, next to the Town Hall, with the march officially starting at 12:00 PM.

Inclusive society, unique minds.

The highlight of the event will be the convergence of both groups of walkers in the Dehesa de Cobeña. This natural area has been chosen to symbolize the union of the two municipalities in a collective embrace of diversity, offering a relaxed and safe environment for interaction and strengthening neighborhood ties.
To commemorate this second edition, event t-shirts will be distributed to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited stock. Participation in the march is free and does not require prior registration, inviting all residents to join the cause individually, with friends, or as a family.
