Interested participants have from July 1 to September 5, 2026, to submit their work. The festival features two main categories: the Official Free Theme Section, open to any genre, and the Local Authors Section, aimed at individuals with ties to Alcobendas, students from local educational institutions, or members of the organizing association.
Registration can be completed via the Festhome platform or by submitting a downloadable form via email to the festival secretariat. In both cases, a 15-euro registration fee is required. Short films must be between 5 and 20 minutes long and produced between January 2025 and the registration date.
Selected works will be screened on October 16, 17, and 18, 2026. Although the festival does not offer cash prizes, winners will receive the Menina, a figure representing the city, along with a diploma and laurel, reinforcing its status as a reference point for independent cinema in the municipality.
