The city of Alcobendas is preparing to host APSURIA's charity market, scheduled to take place from May 29 to 31. This event aims to blend family entertainment with social commitment and will be held at the organization's headquarters, located at Calle Anabel Segura, 12. Admission is free, and the program is designed to appeal to a diverse audience.
Now an established annual event in the municipality, the market's primary objective is to raise funds for the social programs promoted by APSURIA. Throughout the three days, attendees can enjoy various activities while contributing to a significant social cause.
The program includes a wide range of offerings for different age groups, featuring live music, magic shows, face painting, balloon twisting, a giant Scalextric track, workshops, and a raffle. Additionally, a solidarity bar will be available to enhance the experience.
The set schedule will facilitate public attendance across different time slots: Friday, May 29, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Saturday, May 30, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM; and Sunday, May 31, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Over 20 brands will participate in the market, offering a variety of products in an environment focused on charitable shopping. This initiative allows attendees to purchase items while supporting the sustainability of APSURIA's projects.
The funds raised will be entirely allocated to the development of social programs that APSURIA implements to improve the quality of life for individuals with severe disabilities and their families.
APSURIA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care of individuals with severe disabilities, promoting social inclusion, personal autonomy, and equal opportunities, as well as providing family support. The market serves as an opportunity to raise awareness of this work and encourage citizen participation in social initiatives within Alcobendas.
