Alcobendas has concluded the San Isidro Festivities with a positive security record, registering over 1,300 police operations and no significant incidents, following a reinforced deployment.

The city of Alcobendas has concluded its San Isidro festivities with a positive security report, noting more than 1,300 police operations and the absence of serious incidents. The extensive operation, coordinated among various municipal bodies and services, was deployed throughout the festive days to ensure the tranquility of thousands of attendees.
The Comprehensive Security Plan was crucial in allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the scheduled events, particularly at the fairgrounds and high-traffic areas, in a normal atmosphere.
The daily deployment included over 100 officers from the Local Police, 90 personnel from the National Police, and 60 volunteers from Civil Protection. This force was augmented by 17 surveillance cameras, canine units, drones, and the PUMA group, in addition to the Alcobendas Municipal Emergency and Rescue Service, which operated with a medicalized team.
During the four festive days, security checkpoints were established at key access points, including metro, commuter rail, and interchanges, totaling 19 control devices and 107 preventive identifications.
The Local Police set up a mobile citizen service office near the entrance on Avenida de Valdelaparra, alongside a command center that facilitated the coordination of operations and the monitoring of vehicles and individuals.
The Drone Unit conducted 25 hours of flight, focusing its activity on the meadow area to prevent risky behaviors, such as underage alcohol consumption, and to detect potential disturbances or suspicious situations.
In parallel, Civil Protection carried out 101 interventions, and checks within the venue included metal detector screenings at entrances and interior areas.
A notable aspect of the report is the absence of incidents related to music in the stalls, thanks to the implementation of a unified sound system that prevented conflicts, compared to the 23 interventions recorded in the previous edition.
Regarding mobility, over 13,500 people used the free bus services provided to connect the fairgrounds and the pine forest, with these journeys proceeding without significant incidents, according to the municipal report.
