The Cultural Association Dehesa Vieja (ACUDE) has announced the seventh edition of its Short Story Contest in San Sebastián de los Reyes, inviting citizens to participate until May 17.

This literary competition, now a consolidated event in the municipality's cultural calendar, aims to encourage creativity and cultural engagement among residents. The call for entries is open to both members of the association and the general public, with the goal of broadening participation and bringing writing closer to a wider audience in the Madrid locality.
Participants must submit original and unpublished stories that have not previously won awards in other contests. Texts should be between one and three pages long, presented in Word format with Arial font size 12. The deadline for submission is May 17 at 00:00 hours.

With this new edition, ACUDE maintains its commitment to promoting culture and literary creation in the municipality, strengthening its cultural program with an activity open to all citizens.

Throughout its previous editions, the contest has established itself as a significant cultural event in San Sebastián de los Reyes, contributing to the creation of a local literary expression space and encouraging the participation of writing enthusiasts.
Prizes for the winners consist of vouchers redeemable at the stationery store Navacerrada Pernatel. The first-place winner will receive a 120 euro voucher, while the second and third places will receive 60 and 30 euros, respectively.
