The incident occurred around 8:15 PM when the 112 emergency service of the Community of Madrid received a report of a rear-end collision between a motorcycle and a car.
For reasons currently under investigation by the Civil Guard, the car braked before an intersection, and the motorcycle, attempting to avoid it, collided with the vehicle.
The driver, aged 57, was stabilized and transported in a very serious condition to the 12 de Octubre Hospital by air ambulance with multiple traumas.
The passenger, 55, went into cardiorespiratory arrest. Despite cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts by SUMMA medical personnel for 30 minutes, they were ultimately only able to confirm her death.
The Civil Guard has launched an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
