The municipality of El Molar will receive an investment of almost four million euros for the construction of a new Culture House and the roofing of the sports court at Nuestra Señora del Remolino school.

El Molar is preparing to unveil significant infrastructure before the end of the first half of 2027. The town will feature a new House of Culture and will see the sports court at the Nuestra Señora del Remolino school covered, projects totaling an investment of 3.9 million euros.
The main project is the new House of Culture, which will utilize 3.7 million euros of the budget. This project, long awaited by residents, aims to provide a suitable space for cultural activities, workshops, and gatherings. Construction is progressing as planned, with the building expected to open its doors around June of next year.
The second initiative, with a budget of 276,000 euros, focuses on the sports court at the Nuestra Señora del Remolino school. The facility will be equipped with a roof, allowing for year-round use regardless of weather conditions, benefiting both students in their physical education classes and the municipality's sports clubs.
Both projects are funded through the Regional Investment Program (PIR) of the Community of Madrid, a mechanism designed to co-finance municipal works that local councils might find difficult to undertake with their own resources. The arrival of these funds represents a tangible improvement and addresses real demands from the residents of El Molar.
