The program aims to design and develop projects centered on forest fire prevention, forest protection, and the recovery of areas affected by fire. Special attention will be given to municipalities in the Sierra Oeste of the Community of Madrid that suffered damage this summer.
Participating educational centers will promote joint work and the exchange of experiences. The goal is for students to understand the impact of forest fires, foster care for the natural environment, and actively participate in awareness and environmental recovery actions.
MentorActúa encourages the exchange of experiences and the creation of shared projects to enhance educational quality. It consolidates a professional network based on observing good practices, mutual learning, and transferring successful methodologies.
The initiative also collaborates with centers from other autonomous communities such as Aragón, Castilla y León, Galicia, and Murcia. This expands professional development opportunities for teachers and promotes strategic areas like linguistic and multilingual communication, mathematical competence, and knowledge in science, technology, and engineering, fostering increasingly innovative education connected to 21st-century challenges.
