The Community of Madrid has approved an increase of €20.2 million to fund social projects by Third Sector entities.

The Governing Council of the Community of Madrid has greenlit an additional injection of €20.2 million. These funds will be used to subsidize social projects developed by Third Sector entities, sourced from 0.7% of Personal Income Tax (IRPF), Corporate Tax, and the Corresponsables Plan.
The grants will focus on comprehensive care programs for vulnerable citizens. They will also cover initiatives related to children, families, women, people with disabilities, and the elderly. Furthermore, volunteering, social inclusion, and work-life balance initiatives will be supported.
With this new contribution, added to the €37.5 million authorized last May, the annual allocation for these benefits reaches €57.7 million. These funds come from 0.7% of Personal Income Tax (IRPF) revenue, Corporate Tax, and the Corresponsables Plan.
