The Gallery of Royal Collections hosted the gala, presented by Marta Robles and presided over by Miguel Garrido de la Cierva, president of CEIM, alongside Dolores Asensi, president of the Observatory.
During the event, the sector's main challenges were debated, and the work of funeral companies and their professionals was highlighted. Miguel Garrido congratulated the awardees and thanked the Observatory for creating a space for reflection on an essential service.

Garrido also emphasized that recognizing a career means acknowledging years of work, difficult decisions, jobs created, and trust earned.
The awardees at this edition of the OSF Prizes 2026 were Āltima, Cabré Junqueras, Funeraria Gijonesa, Grupo San Román, Interfunerarias, the Autonomous University, and journalist Isabel Balado Campo.
