The Community of Madrid has opened its nine agricultural research centers, managed by IMIDRA, for students from Vocational Training (FP) and universities to undertake their academic internships.

This initiative will allow students to carry out their training at the various facilities of the Madrileño Institute for Rural, Agrarian and Food Research and Development (IMIDRA), tailored to their degree and training program.
The offer is aimed at students in fields related to the agricultural, forestry, food, environmental, and rural development sectors. Profiles from other degree programs that contribute to the organization's functioning, such as administration, finance, or audiovisual communication, are also welcome.
Students will be mentored by IMIDRA professionals and can participate in various areas. These include crops, livestock improvement and reproduction, forest management, viticulture, olive cultivation, pollinators, soil maintenance and recovery, and food science and technology, among others.
Furthermore, training will be provided in services such as analysis, conservation of animal and plant diversity in germplasm banks, administrative and financial management, and maintenance of natural and historical heritage. Students can also complete their final degree or master's projects related to agricultural R&D at these centers.
