An individual set fire to a collection of plastic phallus replicas that had been previously placed at the main entrance of the facilities. The event unfolded in two phases: first, the placement of the objects in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday, and later, the ignition by a second individual on Sunday afternoon, around 6:00 PM, who sprayed the objects with an accelerant.
The flames, which extinguished themselves within minutes, did not require the intervention of firefighters or emergency medical services. The incident only caused aesthetic damage to the facade, with scorch marks and dark smudges resulting from the smoke and direct fire.
“"Yesterday afternoon, an incendiary attack occurred, meaning an attack against the national headquarters of Vox where we are. Although fortunately it did not achieve its objective, we are facing an attack against Vox and against political freedom in Spain."
Following the dissemination of images, Vox's national spokesperson, José Antonio Fúster, strongly condemned the events during an institutional press conference, labeling the incident an "attack" rather than simple vandalism.
The party is reviewing surveillance camera footage to identify the perpetrators and will cooperate with the National Police. Fúster urged the Ministry of the Interior for swiftness in clarifying the case and requested an investigation into whether the attackers acted in coordination or if the incident is part of a structure promoting political violence.
