The National Police has launched an investigation following a jewelry store robbery at the Madrid Sur shopping center in Puente de Vallecas, where four masked individuals stole valuables.

A violent incident occurred this afternoon at the Madrid Sur shopping center, located in the Puente de Vallecas district. Four masked individuals stormed the establishment and, armed with hammers, smashed the glass display cases to steal merchandise from a jewelry store.
The events took place around 2:30 PM. After committing the robbery, the assailants fled the scene in a car that was waiting for them near the shopping center, situated on Avenida Pablo Neruda.
Police sources confirmed that, fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, nor were any shots fired. However, eyewitnesses recorded the robbers threatening the store's employees.
