A patrol from the Madrid Municipal Police arrested two men, aged 31 and 36, of Colombian origin, on the afternoon of September 10th. The operation took place in the San Blas‑Canillejas district, near a well-known squatted building on Lola Flores street, after observing suspicious behavior from a vehicle.
Officers decided to stop the car upon noticing it accelerated abruptly when they became aware of their presence. The occupants claimed they had just dropped off a friend residing in the building, but their nervousness and the presence of bags containing a pink substance in the rear of the vehicle raised further suspicions.

After ordering them out of the car for a search, officers found two bags of narcotics in the driver's sock, along with cash. The passenger was carrying a backpack containing over 650 euros and zip-lock bags commonly used for drug distribution. The driver also tested positive for drug use.
Both detainees face charges for alleged offenses against public health. Additionally, the driver was issued an administrative fine for driving under the influence of narcotics.
The police investigation is ongoing to determine the origin of the drugs and whether the arrested individuals had any ties to activities related to the occupied building.
