Three stabbed in a brawl in San Blas-Canillejas

Madrid's Municipal Police are investigating the causes of the violent fight that occurred early Sunday morning, leaving one person in serious condition.

Madrid's Municipal Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of a serious brawl that occurred early Sunday morning in the San Blas-Canillejas district, resulting in three people being stabbed.

The altercation, suspected to be linked to rival gang disputes, took place around 1:40 AM near number 40 on Calle Aquitania. Upon receiving the alert, several police patrols and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers found several individuals with injuries inflicted by sharp objects. SAMUR-Civil Protection emergency services established a medical setup to treat the affected individuals at the location.
According to Ervigio Corral, the on-duty supervisor for the emergency service, two young men aged 23 and 24 sustained penetrating stab wounds to their ribs. After receiving initial stabilization care, they were jointly evacuated to La Paz University Hospital, with one admitted in serious condition.
A third injured person, a 36-year-old male, had minor cuts on his right hand. After being assessed by medical personnel, he was transported by ambulance to Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital.
Police forces have secured the area and are collecting statements from potential witnesses to identify and apprehend all participants in the collective fight.
