The third edition of the Madrid with ALS Race filled the Castellana avenue this Sunday with a five-kilometer solidarity event organized by AdELA and the Madrid City Council.

The race, which began at 9:00 AM, started on the Castellana avenue, near Rosario Pino street, and followed the main axis to the intersection with José Abascal street, before turning back along the same route to the finish line.
In addition to the main race, a non-competitive 400-meter challenge was organized for people with disabilities, including a t-shirt, runner's bag, and medal for all participants.
The initiative also featured a 'Fila 0' (Row 0) for those wishing to contribute financially without participating in the run. All proceeds will go to the projects of the Spanish Association of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (AdELA).
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is the third most common neurodegenerative disease in Spain, after Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. In the previous edition, over 3,000 runners participated in this solidarity event.
