The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a forecast indicating that instability will be the prevailing trend. Light rains are expected, which could be moderate in some eastern areas, and occasional stormy showers are not ruled out. Furthermore, these precipitations could be accompanied by mud due to the presence of calima (dust haze).
The sky will be mostly cloudy or overcast with medium and high clouds, although they are expected to decrease in the late hours of the day. AEMET warns of the possibility of very strong convective wind gusts, associated with the storms that could develop in the region. In the rest of the community, the wind will blow light and variable, with moderate intervals in the southeast during central hours.
Regarding temperatures, a general decrease is expected. Minimums will drop in the western third, with little change elsewhere, ranging between 8 and 11 degrees. The capital will be one of the areas where minimums remain at higher values.
Maximums, on the other hand, will experience a notable drop in the western third, moving away from values close to 30 degrees recorded in previous days. In towns like Navalcarnero, maximums could drop to 16 degrees. However, in the eastern half, the drop will be less pronounced, with Alcalá de Henares still potentially reaching 25 degrees.
