The Tetuán district begins its summer urban camp registration period this Monday, June 1st, offering 1,200 places for children aged 3 to 12.

Applications for these activities, designed to facilitate family work-life balance, can be submitted until June 7th through the online form available on the municipal website. The camps are aimed at minors attending from Early Childhood Education to sixth grade of Primary Education, provided they are enrolled or registered in Tetuán, or at least one of their legal guardians resides or works in the district.
The provisional list of applications will be published on June 9th, prior to a lottery if demand exceeds the available places. The final admission lists will be announced on June 15th. The camps will take place at CEIP Felipe II and CEIP Pío XII, with 150 places per school for each of the four available periods: July 1st-15th, July 16th-31st, August 1st-15th, and August 16th-31st, the latter being a new addition. The offering has increased by 400 places compared to last year, with 5% reserved for children with special educational needs.
The basic schedule will be from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, including lunch. Extended hours services are available from 8:00 AM with breakfast, until 5:00 PM including a snack. For more details, consult the municipal website or contact via email at eductetuan@madrid.es or by phone at 915885446.
Additionally, the Tetuán Municipal Board has launched a pilot project with 20 places for a film and theater summer camp, aimed at 14 to 18-year-olds from the district. This initiative will take place at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center from July 6th to 31st, featuring workshops led by industry professionals. Student selection will be made from participating educational centers.
Furthermore, the Triángulo de Oro Municipal Sports Center will offer sports camps and intensive swimming courses during July. Camps will also be organized in the Sierra de Madrid for district schools, associated with the Integral Neighborhood Plans (PIBA) Ventilla-Almenara and Bellas Vistas, with 80 places per camp. As a new development, these activities are now extended to Bellas Vistas and to subsidized schools in the district. Registrations for these latter activities will open from the second half of June.
