The Royal Collections Gallery in Madrid has joined the municipal program Refúgiate en la Cultura 2026, offering a series of musical events and guided tours throughout the summer season.

Aiming to position museums as climate-controlled refuges against high temperatures, the Madrid City Council has promoted this initiative to blend heritage with live performances. Flamenco shows will take place on the -2 floor, within the Musical Cabinet area.
The musical schedule, running through July and August, features eleven 15-minute sessions combining singing, dance, and guitar. These performances are included with the general admission ticket to the gallery.
Additionally, the gallery has launched a program of free guided tours of its permanent collection. These 90-minute tours are available from Monday to Saturday during morning and afternoon slots, and on Sundays during the morning, subject to capacity limits.
