The candidacy aims to strengthen Más Madrid's territorial presence for the 2027 municipal elections, incorporating representatives from all 21 districts of the capital. The project places particular emphasis on mobilizing popular neighborhoods as a strategy to articulate an alternative to the current PP municipal government.
Among the prominent figures in the initial positions of the list is Daniel Ayuso, known for his social media content about Madrid's neighborhoods, who holds the second spot. In third place is current councilor Lucía Lois, focused on housing policies and opposition to real estate speculation.
Other councilors seeking re-election include Sara Ladra (fifth position), an economist, and Olga Martínez (seventh position), a sociologist and resident of Puente de Vallecas. The list also features new additions such as former regional deputy Pablo Padilla (fourth position) and Daniel Vila Garda (sixth position), a retired teacher and local representative in Chamberí.
Profiles linked to sustainable mobility, neighborhood activism, and public management complete the initial part of the list. These include Manuel Mercadal, an engineer and co-founder of environmental initiatives; Diana López, an activist from San Blas; Adrián Jul, spokesperson for the Centro district; Lucía López, a psychopedagogue; Marcos Manzanero, a resident of Hortaleza; and Andrea Betetta, involved in anti-racist movements.
The candidacy highlights the presence of economic profiles, such as Sara Ladra, an economist, and Daniel Vila Garda and Diana López, with backgrounds in economics or political science and experience in public administration or education. Furthermore, the integration of militants and activists of Latin origin within the party's internal structures is emphasized.
The Más Madrid primary process will remain open until Saturday, June 20. Voting will take place between July 4 and 6, with results announced on the 8th. Subsequently, the candidacy will be finalized with independent additions.
