Lines C-2, C-7, and C-8 of Cercanías Madrid are experiencing significant delays this Friday due to a signaling failure located in Vicálvaro.

The incident, which began minutes before 9:00 AM, is causing average delays of approximately 15 minutes on these three lines, according to sources from Adif. Personnel from the railway infrastructure manager are on-site working to restore service as quickly as possible.
This situation recalls similar problems that occurred last Monday, when the same lines suffered delays throughout the day. On that occasion, the cause was also a signaling issue, triggered by cable theft between the stations of Torrejón de Ardoz and Alcalá de Henares. That incident affected trains and CIVIS operating on the route between both towns.
