Raúl Berdonés Re-elected as President of the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster

The General Assembly approves the renewal of the Board of Directors, reinforcing its contribution to the Madrid audiovisual ecosystem's growth.

The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster has renewed its Board of Directors, keeping Raúl Berdonés as president, with the aim of strengthening the region's audiovisual ecosystem.

The General Assembly of the Madrid Audiovisual Cluster, which now comprises 136 associates, has approved the renewal of its Board of Directors. The meeting took place at the SGAE headquarters, in the Palacio de Longoria, and was attended by representatives from over 50 entities.
Raúl Berdonés, representing Secuoya Content Group, has renewed his mandate as president. The new Board of Directors maintains continuity with many of its members and incorporates PATE, represented by Fabia Buenaventura, and ECAM (School of Cinematography and the Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid), represented by Alba Wystraëte, as new members.
With this renewal, the entity reaffirms its objective of boosting Madrid's position as a European hub for audiovisual production, promoting collaboration among companies, institutions, and professionals in the sector.
The Cluster, which adds the institutional partners Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid to its 136 associates, consolidates itself as a key platform for the Spanish audiovisual industry. Its functions include fostering competitiveness, promoting internationalization, developing initiatives in training, sustainability, and technological transformation, and creating networking opportunities.
During the Assembly, the annual accounts and the activity report for 2025 were approved, along with the code of conduct and a protocol for the prevention of harassment.

Key initiatives from 2025 were reviewed, including the I Madrid Forum for Audiovisual Investment, participation in international markets like the Berlinale and the San Sebastián Festival, and professional meetings at Iberseries & Platino Industria. For 2026, plans include the second edition of "Un planeta de cine", new workshops on sector aid and subsidies, and the presentation of the Madrid Audiovisual Report.
