A 60-year-old worker has suffered serious injuries this Sunday after being run over by a car inside a parking lot in Madrid's Moratalaz district. The incident is being investigated as a potential workplace accident, as the victim was performing maintenance tasks at the facility at the time of the incident.
The events occurred when the driver of a private vehicle was starting to exit the parking lot and, according to preliminary reports, did not notice the presence of the operator. As a result of the impact, the man was dragged several meters by the car on the roadway before the vehicle came to a complete stop.

SAMUR-Civil Protection personnel quickly arrived at the scene to provide emergency medical assistance. After an initial examination, the medical team confirmed that the man had severe abrasions on his back, resulting from being dragged, as well as a confirmed fracture in his femur and a probable pelvic fracture.
Due to the severity of the trauma, the worker was stabilized and urgently transported to a hospital under the 'trauma code' protocol. Officers from the Madrid Municipal Police have taken charge of the investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the collision within the premises.
