Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Madrid After Hitting a Fence

A 28-year-old motorcyclist suffered a serious traffic accident on Vicente Blasco Ibáñez street, in Madrid's Hortaleza district, sustaining severe injuries.

The incident occurred shortly before 3:30 AM when, for reasons still under investigation, the rider lost control of his motorcycle. The vehicle collided with a fence, causing the young man to be thrown from the bike.
As a result of the impact, the motorcyclist suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. SAMUR paramedics provided medical attention at the scene, where he was intubated and stabilized before being transported.
The injured rider was evacuated with a serious prognosis to La Paz Hospital, according to information provided by Emergencias Madrid. The Municipal Police have launched an investigation to clarify the causes of the incident.
