Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Falling 15 Meters Down Embankment in Navas del Rey

A 51-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries this Sunday after leaving the M-501 road near kilometer 45 in Navas del Rey, falling approximately 15 meters down an embankment.

The incident occurred around 3:34 PM when the 112 Community of Madrid Emergency Center received the alert. As a result of leaving the road, the rider plunged his motorcycle down an embankment of about 15 meters.
Upon arrival, SUMMA 112 medical personnel confirmed that the motorcyclist had multiple open fractures in his right leg. After being stabilized at the scene, he was urgently evacuated by medical helicopter to the 12 de Octubre University Hospital in serious condition.
Members of the Community of Madrid Fire Department participated in the rescue efforts, assisting in extracting the injured rider from the hard-to-reach area where he had ended up after the fall.
The Civil Guard has launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the accident.
