Matadero Madrid, a contemporary creation center, will host the DEMM 26 festival from June 19 to 21, commemorating European Music Day with eight concerts and morning sessions for families.

The festival, which has become a classic in Matadero Madrid's programming since its first edition in 2009, will offer a comprehensive overview of the most relevant artists and styles in current Spanish music. The selection is based on the quality and cutting-edge nature of the musical proposals.
The program, curated by a music promoter, features the collaboration of a renowned beverage brand and the visual identity created by a graphic design studio. This event aims to reflect the excellent creative moment in the country's music scene.
The first day, Friday, June 19, will include the audiovisual proposal of an artist presenting her first solo album, AMA. Also performing will be a fundamental voice of contemporary flamenco, presenting her full-length debut, Sangre Sucia, and two artists who blend jazz and folk in a show premiering in Madrid. The night will conclude with a DJ set by a national electronic music reference.
On Saturday, June 20, the second round of DEMM 26 concerts will bring together three key figures of new pop. Among them, a charismatic and talented artist, collaborator of other prominent musicians, will present his debut work, Canciones en Mi. Another participant is a creator of automatic hits who moves between contemporary pop, trap, electronic music, and reggaeton, having composed for renowned artists. The day will close with an unofficial spokesperson for his generation, who will present his second album, Los perros no entienden Internet (y yo no entiendo de sentimientos), and a DJ who explores uncharted territories in electronic music.
In addition to the main concerts, DEMM 26 will offer special sessions for families in the Columns Hall of the Central de Diseño. On Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, at 12:00 PM, shows designed for all audiences will be presented, featuring proposals that combine sensitivity, good taste, and musical experimentation.
Tickets for the concerts on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, in Plaza Matadero, as well as for the children's sessions, will cost 5 euros each. The main concerts will run from 8:00 PM to 1:15 AM. The event will also feature Violet Points for the prevention of sexual violence and communication mediators in Spanish Sign Language (LSE), in addition to magnetic loop equipment and vibrating backpacks on the main stage.
