Más Madrid has organized a mobilization day for this Saturday, during which approximately 350 activists, volunteers, and public officials will cover 13 key points in the region to contact around 5,000 households. The initiative, named ‘Gran Puerta a Puerta’ (Great Door-to-Door), will take place in Madrid districts such as Fuencarral-El Pardo, Carabanchel, Usera, Hortaleza, Retiro, and Villa de Vallecas, as well as in the municipalities of Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Torrejón de Ardoz, Móstoles, Aranjuez, Navalcarnero, Alcalá de Henares, and Fuenlabrada.
The objective of this activity is to establish a direct presence in areas where the effects of the social crisis, attributed to the policies of the People's Party led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso and José Luis Martínez-Almeida, are "most visible". The political party aims to identify an "enormous potential to expand a progressive majority" capable of shaping the future of the Community of Madrid.
The ‘Puerta a Puerta’ campaign seeks to "listen, gather grievances, understand citizens' priorities, and rebuild a political project from the ground up". For this Saturday's event, the Minister of Health and leader of Más Madrid, Mónica García, and the party's spokesperson in the City Council, Rita Maestre, are expected to attend.
The regional party aims to contact over 25,000 households throughout 2026 in neighborhoods with "high abstention rates", areas "punished by the pro-inequality policies of the People's Party", and places where families "are most suffering from the rising cost of living and the deterioration of Madrid's public services" reside.
“"The main objective is not to win a debate, nor to recite talking points, nor to reel off proposals to the Madrileños who open their doors to volunteers. It is to open a face-to-face conversation, where the other person feels heard, can name their concerns, and perceives Más Madrid as a close, useful force, present in the neighborhood."
