Afectos y contrastes del Seicento italiano' in La Serna del Monte (August 21), Carabaña (August 22), and Titulcia (August 23). This program explores an era of profound aesthetic changes and new forms of musical and emotional expression.
Delirivm Musica will offer 'La voz del recuerdo' in Bustarviejo (Saturday, August 22), focusing on the Italian period of Georg Friedrich Haendel. Meanwhile, Jordi Comellas and Yago Mahúgo will perform 'Les Goûts Réunis' on Saturday, August 22, in Cercedilla, and on Sunday, August 23, in Villavieja de Lozoya.
The Artes Escénicas en Municipios cycle continues to bring performing arts to various Madrid towns. The company Aracaladanza will present 'Shibumi' in Puentes Viejas (Friday), Ribatejada (Saturday), and Valdeolmos-Alalpardo (Sunday), a 30-minute piece inviting audiences to observe the beauty of the everyday.
Other theatrical offerings include 'Entremimbres' by Proyecto Caravana in El Vellón (Friday), Zarzalejo (Saturday), and Estremera (Sunday), combining theater, literature, and narration. The company Corral de García will bring 'En el viento' to Moraleja de Enmedio (Friday), El Álamo (Saturday), and Piñuécar-Gandullas (Sunday).
The circus company Spinish Circo will present 'Fins al cel' in Valdelaguna (Friday), Horcajuelo de la Sierra (Saturday), and El Boalo-Cerceda-Mataelpino (Sunday). La Roca Producciones will stage 'Zozobra' in Lozoya (Saturday) and Puentes Viejas (Sunday), a reflection aimed at adult audiences. Eugenia Manzanera will offer 'Lorenza Malandanza' in Cenicientos (Saturday).
The Red de Teatros de la Comunidad de Madrid presents 'Stand-up magic' by David Roy in Meco (Friday), blending magic and humor. In Alpedrete, Sheila Blanco & Federico Lechner Tango Jazz Trío will explore the connections between tango and jazz on Saturday.
In the capital, Veranos en el Parque features 'Gota' on Saturday, the latest work by artist Txema Muñoz, recent winner of the Premio Max 2026 for best street performance, at the Parque del Tercer Depósito or Parque de Santander.
The Cine de Verano (Summer Cinema) sessions will tour municipalities such as Chapinería, Fresnedillas de la Oliva, and Aldea del Fresno with family-friendly titles like 'Los Futbolísimos 2', 'Jurassic World: El renacer', and 'Lilo y Stitch'.
The weekly program concludes with 'Morpha', by Andrea Ríos, Noemí Burgos, Daniela Rodríguez, and Gracia Teixidor, in La Cabrera (Saturday), a contemporary circus piece merging dance and music to reflect on the individual-collective bond.
Among the exhibition proposals, 'Una y otra vez', a retrospective of Iannone, is highlighted, running until August 30 at the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (CA2M) in Móstoles. The exhibition brings together for the first time in Spain a survey of the American artist's career through drawings, paintings, videos, and publications.
The CA2M also features 'El cielo y la tierra' by Antonio Ballester Moreno and 'Una y Tetuán' by Adrian Schindler, which reflects on Spain's colonial past in Morocco and its societal impact.
Sala Alcalá 31 presents 'Mitologías modernas: Ouka Leele & Co' until October 18, revisiting the construction of new mythological imaginaries in Madrid's artistic creation of the eighties. The Sala Cristóbal Portillo hosts 'Madrid en construcción, 1940-1985', showcasing photographs documenting the urban, social, and architectural transformation of the Community of Madrid.
The Biblioteca Regional de Madrid continues with 'Un viaje al Mar de Sombra. Caballeros de Salitre', exploring the dialogue between visual arts and literature by Antón Díez and texts by his brother, Luis Mateo Díez. The Casa Museo Lope de Vega exhibits 'Mujeres de ingenio. Plumas de Oro en el Siglo de las Letras', focusing on key female figures of the Golden Age literature.
In Alcalá de Henares, the Museo Arqueológico y Paleontológico (MARPA) presents 'Dientes de sable', while the Museo Casa Natal de Cervantes displays 'Con capa y espada. La moda en época de Cervantes'.
The exhibition offerings of the Community of Madrid are further expanded by the Red Itiner 2026 initiative, which brings art, photography, history, and heritage to municipalities across the region. Featured exhibitions include 'La ruta del Galeón de Manila', 'Marisa Flórez. Un tiempo para mirar (1970-2020)', and 'Madrileños centenarios. La sabiduría de la longevidad'.
