Madrid football fans will be able to follow the Spanish national team's World Cup matches on giant screens set up in Plaza de Colón, which will be transformed into Plaza Selección.

Following the tradition from previous tournaments, Madrid will show its support for the Spanish national team during the World Cup. The Royal Spanish Football Federation has organized a special venue in Plaza de Colón, named Plaza Selección, for fans to experience the national team's games live.
This space, designed as a meeting point and celebration hub, will feature large screens for match broadcasts. Additionally, it will include an official store, a trophy museum, leisure areas, live music, activities for all ages, and a diverse gastronomic offering, aiming to create a true festival of football and community.
The programming will kick off on June 15 with the match between Spain and Cabo Verde (6:00 PM), with the venue open from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. On June 21, the same schedule will apply for the game against Saudi Arabia (6:00 PM). The match on June 27 against Uruguay (2:00 AM) will not be broadcast due to its early hour, and the venue will operate from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Entry to Plaza Selección will be free and open to the public on match days until full capacity is reached. The organizers plan to expand the schedule if the Spanish team progresses in the competition, to accompany their subsequent matches.
