The Spanish capital is preparing to host the Formula 1 Grand Prix from September 11th to 13th on the new 'Madring' circuit, designed to be the most personalized on the world tour.

The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, has assured that the city is meeting two key strategic objectives for the Formula 1 Grand Prix: organizing the best event on the calendar and having a circuit with maximum personality. Madrid's selection as the host city is due to its consolidation as the 'world capital of sport', according to the mayor during the official presentation of the track at IFEMA Madrid.
The project has received institutional support from the Government of the Community of Madrid and the Chamber of Commerce. The mayor highlighted the logistical capacity of the Madrid administrations to manage the mobility and crowds of fans, recalling a recent security stress test during the visit of Pope Leo XIV, which guarantees the excellence of municipal services during the race days.
The new hybrid 'Madring' track combines urban sections with unique corners, notably the 'Monumental curve', presented as a main attraction for the single-seater cars' driving. The mayor encouraged fans and residents to enjoy the track's details.

The best for the global positioning of the Madrid brand is yet to come, and this success will be built hand-in-hand with the Formula 1 organizers.

This September's event marks the return of the premier motorsport category to the capital after a four-decade absence. Ticket sales expectations already exceed 100,000 passes, with drivers like Carlos Sainz, the circuit's ambassador, expected to participate.
