This measure aims to ensure the mobility of attendees for the event, which will run from 5:00 PM on Friday until 2:30 AM on Saturday, and is expected to attract around 12,000 people. Additionally, the Madrid City Council has announced a special deployment by the Municipal Police to manage traffic in the area.
The extended Metro schedule, from 01:30 AM to 03:00 AM, will include a shuttle service. This service will directly connect San Fermín-Orcasur, Legazpi, and Sol stations without intermediate stops, with trains running approximately every 15 minutes.
According to Metro de Madrid, passengers will only be able to board this special service at San Fermín-Orcasur station. Legazpi, Embajadores, and Sol stations will remain open solely for passenger disembarkation, aiming to streamline travel and ensure user safety.
The special operation also includes an increase in the number of trains in circulation during various time slots throughout the day. Reinforcements will begin at 4:30 PM, reaching up to a 14 percent increase in high-demand sections, particularly in the hours following the conclusion of the concerts. Furthermore, Metro de Madrid will reinforce its staff to manage passenger flow and assist festival attendees.
The Madrid City Council has strongly recommended using public transport to reach the event, which will feature artists such as Dixon, Maceo Plex, Honey Dijon, WhoMadeWho, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Eric Prydz.
