The final selection includes a wide range of projects, highlighting initiatives such as a renowned specialized magazine and an exhibition space located at the Official College of Architects of Madrid. These works compete in six thematic categories ranging from sustainability and health to rehabilitation and professional commitment.
In addition to the main categories, the call maintains three special distinctions dedicated to urban planning, Spanish architecture, and the longevity of works. The latter recognizes buildings that, after two decades, have demonstrated an exemplary capacity to adapt over time.
The organization highlighted the importance of public initiatives in this edition, with 16 of the 25 finalists linked to this sector. This figure reflects the social function of architecture and the fundamental role of professionals in managing the common good and improving the built environment.
“"The finalist projects show a wide variety of scales, programs, and ways of intervening in the built environment. All of them reflect the commitment of architects to an architecture capable of providing the best based on use, location, and needs."
The awards ceremony will take place at the Teatro Alcazar in the capital at 6:30 PM. The finalists include building interventions, urban planning projects, interior design, and outreach initiatives, consolidating these awards as a benchmark in the sector.
