The deputy mayor, Inma Sanz, reported on the authorization of these contracts, which seek to ensure the operational capacity and enhance municipal services. The total amount reaches 6,368,870 euros.
One of the most significant contracts, with an allocation of 3.3 million euros, will be used for the rehabilitation and renovation of the Main Base of SAMUR-Civil Protection (Base 0), located in the Casa de Campo. The works will focus on the new auditorium on the ground floor and the complete renovation of the first floor of building 2, with a 12-month execution period.
Another contract, with a multi-year expenditure of over 1.4 million euros, will cover the maintenance of the vehicle fleet for the Madrid Fire Department. This contract is divided into three lots for heavy and historic vehicles, aerial ladder vehicles, and light vehicles, construction machinery, and stackers, aiming to maintain the fleet in optimal condition to guarantee the service's operational capacity for two years, with a possible two-year extension.
Additionally, two contracts have been approved for the Municipal Police. The first, with a multi-year expenditure of 933,000 euros, will focus on the maintenance of their communication equipment and radio networks, ensuring their continuous and secure operation. The second contract, with a budget of 675,180 euros, is for the supply of ammunition, both for regular police service and for the mandatory shooting practices of officers.
