This weekend, Madrid becomes the epicenter for artisan and local product markets, featuring three prominent events that combine commercial, cultural, and gastronomic offerings.

The Barrio de las Letras hosts a new edition of the emblematic Mercado de las Ranas this Saturday, June 13th. Organized by the Merchants Association of the Barrio de las Letras, the event opens the doors of commercial establishments to showcase their tourist, cultural, and gastronomic offerings from 12:00 to 20:00. This initiative aims to support local businesses and boost neighborhood visits, with collaboration from the Madrid City Council and the hotel sector.
Concurrently, on June 13th, a new edition of ‘[The Festival] by SALESAS’ takes place, a street market that highlights the work of young creators. Campoamor, Santa Teresa, and Argenosla streets transform into a cosmopolitan space with market stalls, gastronomic and cultural areas, and food trucks. The event, part of the Madrid Capital de Moda project, runs from 11:30 to 20:00.
The Museo del Ferrocarril (Railway Museum) will be the venue for the Mercado de Motores on June 13th and 14th. This large market will bring together designers, artisans, artists, and musicians, offering fashion, crafts, live music, children's activities, and food trucks. Entry is free, though advance booking is recommended for capacity control. The market also includes activities like origami and kokedama workshops, tastings, a dog-sitting service, and cloakroom facilities.

This weekend, Madrid comes alive with a diverse range of markets blending traditional crafts with the latest trends.

Attendees at Mercado de Motores can enjoy free guided tours of the Museo del Ferrocarril, as well as the Garden Train. Additionally, free copies of magazines such as Time Out Madrid, Forbes, Tapas, and L’Officiel will be available. The market is located at Paseo de las Delicias, 61, accessible via Metro and Cercanías Delicias. Opening hours are from 11:00 to 22:00 on Saturdays and 11:00 to 21:00 on Sundays.
