This investment, which will benefit approximately 35,000 residents of El Boalo, Manzanares el Real, Soto del Real, and Miraflores de la Sierra, will focus on improving care for the elderly and dependent individuals in the area.
In Miraflores de la Sierra, the Minister of Family, Youth, and Social Affairs, Ana Dávila, visited the Perpetuo Socorro Residence, which has 32 places, and attended the inauguration of the new Municipal Senior Citizen Social Center, with a capacity for 20 people. This new center will serve as a meeting and support point for the locality's residents.
“"Both institutions share the interest and commitment to the elderly, promoting initiatives that offer professional assistance tailored to needs and different situations."
Of the total investment of 7 million euros, nearly six million will be allocated to financing 113 public residential places for elderly individuals in situations of dependency in Soto del Real and Miraflores de la Sierra. Additionally, 530 users will be supported through home help and advanced telecare services.
